We are a group of ordinary people, on a journey of faith together, discovering how best to
follow Jesus and share his love in the different neighbourhoods that make up the Ebbsfleet
Garden City.
We started out with a focus on wellbeing and healthy activities; this has continued to be an
important aspect of our church life.
Ebbsfleet Baptist Church is a member of the Baptist Union of Great Britain

the local ‘Church Together in Ebbsfleet’ group of churches.
Rev Penny Marsh leads the church, and we have a leadership team and a number of
volunteers who share in this too.
What do we believe?
We believe in God, who created everything and loves each one of us unconditionally.
We believe in Jesus, God’s Son, who came to show us how much God cares for us. He lived
a life full of love and truth and gave His life on the cross to bring us back to God. After three
days, He rose from the dead! Now, Jesus is alive, and one day He will return to make
everything new and right.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, God’s presence that is with us today. He comforts,
strengthens, and guides us, helping us to live with hope and purpose.
We believe in the Church—not a building, but a family of people following Jesus together.
We believe there are no barriers to God’s love and that church is a place where everyone is
welcome and can play a part.
We believe in God’s forgiveness, in a fresh start for anyone who turns to Him, and in the
promise of life forever with Him.
Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). Our
desire is to share this message so that everyone can experience the fullness of life that
comes from knowing Him personally. Whether you are seeking, questioning, or already
walking in faith, we invite you to join us in discovering the transforming love of Jesus.
