This May, Ebbsfleet Baptist Church is hosting a special Week of Giving – a week of community, generosity, movement, and fun for all ages.
Across the week, we’ll be bringing people together through family activities, fundraising events and community challenges.
We’ll be working together to raise funds to support the church’s ongoing outreach and community work including:
• Coffee Morning
• Crafts in the Coffee Shop
• Couch to 5K & Run Group
• Easter & Christmas community events
• Sunday Active and family activities
Whether you’re joining us for a toddler obstacle course, buying a cake at Parkrun, taking part in the Community Challenge, or simply cheering others on, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Events Across the Week:
Friday 22 May:
11am Castle Hill Tennis Courts – Sponsored Toddle
A fun family morning for little ones at the tennis courts with obstacle activities, scooters, games and medals.
Saturday 23 May:
Parkrun Bake Sale – 9am onwards
Join us at Jubilee Park for cakes and community spirit during Parkrun morning.
Sunday 24 May:
Our main community event at Whitecliffe Lake and Jubilee Park.
10:15 for bikes (children under 12 accompanied by an adult only)
10:45 walkers and runners – Ebbsfleet Community Challenge
• Take part however you like:
• Walk one loop
• Complete a 5K challenge
• Try the endurance route
• Join a relay team
• Enjoy breakfast, music, raffle prizes, and children’s races afterwards
• The event is untimed and open to all abilities.
Sunday 24 May:
Space to Be Celebration 4pm, Weldon Heart
We’ll finish the weekend together with an opportunity to pause, reflect, celebrate, and give thanks for all that has happened throughout the week.
Raffle & Fundraising:
Throughout the week we’ll also be running a community raffle with prizes donated by local supporters and church members.
